The SiNet Hub 444 enables connection of up to four stepper and servo drives, forming an RS-232 serial network. It operates in two modes: running stored programs via SiNetHub Programmer software for standalone use, or acting as a serial router for streaming commands using Serial Command Language (SCL). Each drive gets a unique address based on its port, simplifying configuration and replacement. Most Applied Motion drives with RS-232 ports are compatible. Drives can be mixed and matched, offering cost-effective motion control. The Hub is powered by the drive connected to port #1, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. It supports relative, absolute, and homing moves, I/O control, status, and more.
